Supporting PetSavers

If, like us, your pets hold a special place in your heart, then you’ll know how tough it can be when they’re ill. Our mission is to fund research that improves the health and wellbeing of our companion animals.

Whilst the findings of many of our research projects provide veterinary professionals with the knowledge they need to treat diseases affecting pets, we have also funded work which supports owners to look after beloved furry friends.

Our Old Age Pets Project, carried out at the University of Liverpool, aimed to help both vets and owners provide the best care for senior dogs. The checklist and toolkit developed during the project helps owners to identify possible differences between ‘normal’ signs of aging and crucial indicators of disease. Find out more about the Ageing Canine Toolkit here.
