BSAVA Prize Draw – BVNA Congress 2025 

Terms and Conditions 

  1. Eligibility and Entry
  • The prize draw is open to all registered veterinary nurses aged 18 years or over, attending the BVNA Congress 2025 between Friday 10 October and Sunday 12 October. 
  • Entry is limited to one per person and is only valid if the delegate’s badge is scanned at the BSAVA exhibition stand during the event. 
  • Employees of the BSAVA, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter. 
  • Proof of age and professional status may be requested. 
  • The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. 
  1. Prize Details

The following prizes will be awarded:  

  • One (1) £1,000 holiday voucher redeemable with one of the following major tour operators: EasyJet Holidays, TUI, First Choice, or Jet2holidays. 
  • One (1) £500 retreat voucher to be used at a location near the winner. 
  • Five (5) BSAVA Veterinary Nurse Memberships, each valid for one calendar year, activated within five working days of the acceptance of the prize or from the next renewal date of an existing live veterinary nurse membership. 
  1. Prize Conditions
  • No cash alternative is available. 
  • Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-negotiable. 
  • Prizes may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winner. 
  • BSAVA reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. 
  1.  Liability
  • BSAVA accepts no responsibility for any issues arising with the tour operator or retreat provider. 
  • BSAVA is not liable for any losses, injuries, or other incidents that may occur while using the prize. 
  • Voucher expiration dates will be in accordance with the tour operator’s or retreat provider’s policies. Failure to redeem the voucher within the specified timeframe is the responsibility of the prize winner. 
  1. Draw Process and Winner Notification
  • The prize draw opens at 9:00am on Friday 10 October and closes at 3:00pm on Sunday 12 October. 
  • Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted. 
  • BSAVA accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults, malfunctions, or network/server failures. 
  • Winners will be selected by random draw conducted by BSAVA by Monday 13 October 2025. 
  • Winners will be notified by email by Tuesday 14 October 2025. 
  • If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and BSAVA reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 
  1. Prize Fulfilment
  • Prizes will be sent to winners within 14 days of acceptance. 
  • BSAVA’s decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  1. Data and Communications
  • By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be contacted by BSAVA regarding wider association activities. 
  • Entrants may opt out of communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided. 
  • By entering the prize draw, winners agree that the BSAVA may use their name and image for the purpose of announcing the winners and promoting the prize draw in related publicity. 
  1. General
  • BSAVA reserves the right to refuse entry or withdraw a prize if an entrant is found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the competition. 
  • The prize draw is governed by English law, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
