Grants available for two-day Antimicrobial Stewardship in Veterinary Medicine course in Gothenburg

The ESGVM (ESCMID Study Group on Veterinary Microbiology) which is part of ESCMID (European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases), is running a course in Antimicrobial Stewardship in Veterinary Medicine in Gothenburg this September.
The Postgraduate Education Course is taking place on 11th and 12th September 2016, after the ECVIM – CA Congress, and is aimed at vets and specialists in companion animal internal medicine.
Topics include optimisation of current diagnostic strategies in UTI, multi drug resistant bacteria, critical antibiotics and lessons from human medicine.
Attendance grants covering registration and hotel expenses are available for young vets (under 35 years of age). The deadline to apply for a grant is 1st August 2016.
