The 31st is looming. The National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) is making sure you’re prepared for Brexit. With a focus on the supply and use of veterinary medicines, NOAH is holding 4 seminars across the UK so you can know what to expect and how to prepare. More info is available below:

All the seminars follow the same format:

The majority of veterinary medicines used in the UK are either produced or enter via the EU. This, as I’m sure you can imagine, is a huge worry for the UK veterinary sector. The Government has been working hard to provide contingency plans for a no-deal, covering all aspects of their supply chains.

An extra £2.1bn fund for no-deal Brexit preparations has been announced by the Government, with £434 million being made available to ensure a constant supply of medicines and medical products. If there’s a disruption to the border, veterinary medicines will be considered prioritised goods – this is because they have been confirmed as Category 1 listed.

For more information, the Government has created an online tool with 7 questions to help you prepare for Brexit.
