BSAVA publishes new canine and feline dentistry and oral surgery manual

24 August 2018

The latest edition of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Dentistry and Oral Surgery includes new step-by-step operative techniques and full-colour illustrations and photographs. This is a timely publication; veterinary dentistry is a field that continues to grow in importance for the general veterinary practitioner. The manual has been fully revised and updated to include the most relevant, evidence-based techniques.

Alexander Reiter and Margherita Gracis form the new editorial team and they have selected an international collection of authors that are known leaders and experienced professionals in their field of expertise to contribute to this latest edition.

“We found it important to add ‘Oral Surgery’ to the title of this new edition, as many procedures performed in and around the mouth involve surgical techniques,” the editors explained.

The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Dentistry and Oral Surgery, 4th edition, is an accessible source of core information for general small animal veterinary surgeons, nurses/technicians and students interested in developing their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in dentistry and oral surgery.

The print version of the manual is now available to purchase from the BSAVA website (www.bsava.com/shop), while it will be available on the BSAVA Library (www.bsavalibrary.com/manuals) in September. You can also order by phone: 01452 726700.
