An Early Day Motion (EDM) from Liberal Democrat MP, Alistair Carmichael, is calling on the Government to re-introduce compulsory tick treatments for all cats and dogs travelling back into the UK under the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS). BSAVA and BVA are inviting members to lobby their own MPs to back the EDM, which already has some cross-party support.
