BSAVA PetSavers launches ‘Fund the Future’ campaign to support PhD studentship in veterinary science

In celebration of World Vet Day (29^th April), BSAVA PetSavers are launching ‘Fund the Future’, a new fundraising campaign which aims to raise money to support a PhD studentship in veterinary science.

BSAVA PetSavers has long championed the funding of education through their masters’ degrees by research and are now supporting the next step up in the academic research ladder. This will enable students to spend three or four years developing crucial research skills as they gain their doctorate, furthering knowledge and understanding of veterinary science and medicine, and developing tomorrow’s research leaders.

Shelby Tunstall, Fundraising Coordinator said: “This is a very special campaign that is very close to our hearts. Not only are we funding the researchers of tomorrow, but we will celebrate the awarding of this PhD during our 50^th anniversary in 2024. We are really excited about this new campaign and hope that people will donate to the cause.”
