The BSAVA Dispensing Course is an essential learning opportunity for veterinary professionals who are involved in managing dispensaries and ensuring compliance with up-to-date medicine regulations. It is aligned with the RCVS Practice Standards for veterinary hospital pharmacy courses and is AMTRA accredited, offering 41 AMTRA CPD points.

Whether you’re a practice owner, vet or vet nurse or technician involved with the dispensary, this course provides valuable insights that will help you navigate the complexities of veterinary dispensing.

The courses run twice a year; Spring and Autumn.

Course structure and learning objectives

Course Structure

Delivered entirely online the course features a series of pre-recorded video lectures and supporting notes. The content will be released over four weeks, giving you the flexibility to study at your own pace within the allotted time.

To conclude the course, there will be a live Q&A session on Thursday, 8th May 2025 at 10:00 AM. During this session, you’ll have the chance to ask questions and discuss any challenges you may face in your role. Attendance at this live session is required to gain your CPD hours and AMTRA points.
