Pet passport – lamination sheet error – message from APHA

12 May 2016

The Animal Plant and Health Agency(APHA) have released the following statement:

It has come to our attention that a number of the recently issued new style passports starting from serial number 860400 contain an error relating to the lamination aspect of page 6 – III Marking of Animal. The adhesive side of the lamination sheet has been added to the wrong side so if peeled back whilst still in the passport the adhesive side will be facing page 7.

Any passport containing this error can still be issued so long as the lamination sheet is carefully cut from along the perforation and then correctly applied to page 6 of the passport as per the guidance available online.

Thank you for your assistance and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are working hard with our suppliers to rectify the error as soon as possible.
